LETHE (MENG PO) 2022

This project is about Meng Po, the goddess of forgetfulness in Chinese mythology, who serves Meng Po Soup in the sheol, the Chinese concept of the underworld, to erase people's memories so that they can be reincarnated. I ask what if Meng Po's Soup was to give people memories instead of erasing them, or if Meng Po would put poison in the soup? With these questions, I created a personal visual narrative.
